Hanvon Touchpad B10 Windows 7 Tablet: Impressions, Unboxing Video

Hanvon have started shipping in Germany and already a un-boxing Video has appeared on Youtube,

For those of you not interested in moving over to the new Apple tablet way of life with the iPad, you might be interested in this. The new Hanvon Touchpad B10 which is now available in Europe.

As for the spec’s, the B10 is what you would expect with current modern netbooks. 1.3GHz Celeron ULV processor, 2GB RAM, GMA 4500 graphics, 10.1-inch 1024×600 touchscreen with added multitouch support, mini HDMI port, 250GB hard drive, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth, 1.3-megapixel webcam, a couple of USB 2.0 ports and weighs in at under 1kg.

What was most interesting is the way Hanvon marketed the product. They did this by smashing a huge ice-sculpture modelled on the Apple logo. But why this device is significantly better than the iPad, they failed to deliver.

Hanvon’s touchpad is currently being sold with German retailers Papyrus for €771.24 ($974) including tax, with shipments expected to kick off in six days time.
